Location. The Doubletree Ocean Point Beach Resort & Spa is a cylindrical boutique hotel set on the beaches of the Atlantic Ocean in the Sunny Isles neighborhood of Miami Beach, Fla. Located 11 miles from downtown Miami and South Beach, this all suite tower is just over one mile from Oleta River State Park, which offers mountain biking and hiking trails, fishing and kayaking on Biscayne Bay. The Bal Harbour Shops and Aventura Mall are approximately three miles away. Features. This Miami Beach resort offers gourmet dining and tropical lounges, including a lobby restaurant with views of the ocean, poolside bar, and market bistro and gift shop serving standard deli fare and coffee drinks. Corporate events are accommodated in over l2,000 square feet of meeting and event space, with many of the rooms boasting ocean views. Business services include high speed Internet access, photocopying, faxing and shipping for a fee. The resort features a zero entry beachside pool, fitness center, and full service spa offering beach and poolside spa specialty services, including Swedish, Shiatsu, and Tiki torch massages.
Guestrooms. The one , two and three bedroom suites at Doubletree Ocean Point Beach Resort & Spa offer private terraces overlooking the ocean. Full suites feature kitchens with dishwashers and microwave ovens, and in room washer/dryers. Standard studios offer wet bars, microwave ovens, refrigerators and coffeemakers.
Expert Tip. The resort boasts a private beach and offers non motorized watercraft equipment, including catamarans, sea kayaks and paddleboats. Oceanfront lounge chairs and umbrellas are also available.

17375 Collins Avenue, Miami Beach, Fla. From Miami International Airport: Exit airport and bear right onto Airport Expressway, heading east. Turn onto I 95 heading north. Take Exit 17 (SR 826 East). Continue on SR 826, and then proceed east on Sunny Isles Boulevard. Turn left onto Collins Avenue and proceed to the hotel.
